Communication Sandwich ~ 9 May 2018

This weekend Mercury in Aries squares Mars in Capricorn and conjoins Uranus, also in Aries. In the same time frame Mars also squares Uranus. This pattern comes off both Mercury (happening now) and Mars (May 1st) squaring the “being outcast is my social merit badge” planet Eris. This pattern precedes Mars screeching into Aquarius and Uranus hopscotching into Taurus, both happening on the 15th. To complete the communication/life action sandwich of Mercury and Mars to Uranus pattern, Venus opposes the Galactic Center on may 16th.

So, here’s a delineation distillation:

Within the past ten days perceptions of being left behind, excluded, shut out, unfriended, diminished by social chatter, kicked to the curb, or thrown under the bus, whether actual or imagined, clutter the airwaves. Accompanying those perceptions, if not proactively addressed, a festering of hurt feelings could lead to rising irritation. Today, Mercury exactly squares Eris.

A review of anytime that you may have felt the downside of Eris: rejected, dejected, projected or a societal misfit either by behavior or economic status naturally fits the call of Mercury’s quadrature angle to the testy and disruptive Eris. Get into the incidents. Make notes. Feel the surging energy inside that rivals the stunning spewing of Kilauea on the big island of Hawaii. Ironically, the destructive lava, fire and toxic gases in play simultaneously create new fertile land.

As a side note here, Haumea, the Hawaiian fertility/creativity goddess, when feeling cut off from a blissful existence by third parties, often directed lava as a force of vengeful destruction toward those impeding her highway to happiness. Curiously and not at all coincidentally, Mars in Capricorn squared Haumea in Libra on May 3rd. Today and tomorrow, Mercury’s Aries spot in the sky opposes Haumea.

Anyway, once a listing of life circumstances, interactions and events that stimulated feelings of isolation is complete, take a few breaths. Seek no vengeance. Spew no lava. Chill and spin the reactionary energy into action that repositions the perception of your station in life and engages with a clear and distinct plan to ensure inclusion in what actually fits your soulful requirements.

With Eris it’s always important to wonder if you achieve the coveted social or economic status, will life be better? If ascent on the ladder of social acclaim complicates soul aspirations, is that a good thing?

Now this next weekend the wild card Uranus steps in to assuage the annoyances of Eris. True, Uranus can be cranky, eccentric, unconventional and downright revolting. Still his agenda is to boot that which is inobvious and that should be obvious into the stratosphere of personal obviousness. As Mercury and Mars contend with Uranus this weekend the objective is not to disrupt the 3-d chessboard of life upon which all those in your sphere weave webs. The agenda is to let those in your sphere know with absolute and impeccable certainty who you really are, what you want and what you intend to do about it!

When words get uttered with Mercury while Uranus tensions complicate the play, the reply is often, “I never knew you felt that way, believed in such things, thought in those realms or held those aspirations.” Cool. Use Mercury to Uranus to convey specifically who you are, what you want and where you want to end up irrespective of the other players on your chessboard which now approaches 5-d dimensions. Realize that such declarations are not in spite of, seeking revenge upon, or intending to wreak havoc in the lives of anyone else. As Mercury in Aries contends this IS about you and only about you.

Guess what? The next realization is that the cat is out of the bag. At this point the appropriate action is to do those things you’ve always wanted to do. If you want to tell your boss to take this job and shove it, this is such a time. Extreme Hazard Warning here: Saturn and Pluto are in Capricorn. They demand a plan for life solidity before casting stability aside. In but another week Uranus enters Taurus. If you’re going to go renegade and rogue and run off the rails, be clear what resources you possess, how those can be applied over time, ensure that your needs are met, then go crazy! Pragmatism aligns with progressive pursuit.

But if you’ve always wanted to write, paint a picture, build a shrine to your favorite inspiration or invoke more challenging political profiles, this is that time... or a least a window of opportunity for next initial steps..

Mars and Uranus enter fixed signs within the week. These are signs that realize it’s a long haul and at times a grind. Whatever declarations are made during this topsy turvy week, plan on sticking to it without shifting focus off the task at hand for at least six weeks or so... the time it generally takes Mars to transit a sign. However, during this transit into Aquarius, Mars retrogrades, slips back into Capricorn and in that process squares Uranus twice more by mid-September. Mars then resumes a direct trek through Aquarius finishing up in mid-November.

During Mars retrograde, editing, reviewing, replotting, quadruple checking data, including and excluding team members tends to be the organic rule. Compliance with changes - especially annoying, unexpected changes, contribute to an improved final result. Uranus is in play. Be cheerful and know that the grind gives up galactically grand results.

But back to the near future. On the 16th Venus in Gemini opposes the Galactic Center. Those who operate unconsciously and erratically with Mercury and Mars to Uranus will be forced to step back and reflect, resulting in: “Oh, so that’s what that was all about. Sorry about the stuff I said, posted and whatever.” Contrasting those characters with those invoking a conscious approach, these proactive, clearly intended sorts reap the benefit of resounding “both sides of the coin” realizations.

At the get go, ensure messaging aligns with the transits and your personal end game. Drill down to see if there’s anything not yet included. When confident of objectives and alignment by declaration, go for it. Make that word sandwich.

More soon.
